Sixteen contenders, seven disciplines, and one winner — Coffee Masters is the ultimate barista throwdown. But without the right equipment, the contenders would not be able to showcase their skills and wow the judges.
The Equipment
The competitors will be treated to state-of-the-art kit, featuring Slayer Espresso’s Steam LP, barista favourite Mahlkönig EK43 and E65S grinders, and Hario’s V60 range. Best part? The lucky winner will receive a Slayer single group espresso machine and Mahlkönig EK43 of their own, in addition to the $5,000 cash prize!
The Coffee and Milk
All the coffee this year will be supplied by The Little Marionette, who are presenting unique single origins from across the globe.
Straus Family Creamery will have their Organic Extra Rich Barista® Milk on offer to create a delicious café drink experience. For the non-dairy category, Califia Farms will have their Barista Blend on hand in three different varities, oatmilk, almondmilk and unsweetened almondmilk.
